"Age of Turbulence"

  1. Needed some new reading material when I tucked myself away in a cabin for a few days, so I picked up Greenspan's book.

    Interesting read so far I guess. Don't agree with all the opinions, but his view of each situation is interesting to hear. I expect that his memory is about 75% accurate. Then of that 75% percent, I think he believes about 80%. That would make the book about 60% accurate.

    Amongst all the economic statements and changes of opinion during the first chapter, there is one political comment that stands out. I can't quote it exactly, but something to the effect of...

    "Anyone willing to do what it takes to become president should be automatically banned from assuming that title."

    Gonna have to agree there.

  3. This coming from the guy who has prospered for the last 1 1/2 years mainly because of Greenspan. Don't bite the hand that feeds you man.
