mw spreads rally badly, dont understand the reasons of it

Commercials are seeing a lot of value in these low prices across most markets lately.

 

Short Jan/Mar Soymeal @ 6 at the close.

 

At .6 ?
I went long DEC/short MAR on wheat & corn, and long DEC/short JAN on soymeal.
I think that nearby market should increase to motivate US farmers to sell ?

 

Yes. 0.6. It's possible we both win on soymeal but unlikely...

Sometimes. As a cattle feeding spread for example. But not continuous stat arb...
