    Hi All

Am I correct in saying that if I trade the mini corn futures market, a $10 move in the corn price is like a $1 move in the mini corn contract and thus this is a $1000 change in the mini contract value ?

    Cheers!

  2. no, the contract size is 1,000 bushels, so a $1 move would equal $1K, as opposed to 5K in the regular. You are correct though, tick size is 1/10 of the regular, @ $1.25 per tick.

  3. 1) The "big" corn contract, 5000 bushels, has a tick size of 1/4 cents per bushel with a value of $12.50.
    2) The "mini" corn contract, 1000 bushels, has a tick size of 1/8 cents per bushel with a value of $1.25. The tick size is 1/2 of the regular. The tick value is 1/10 of the regular.
