afterhours trading

  1. who trades afterhours trading?
look at this chart..afterhours is like more action and movement than regulatr trading hours for futures. the futures barely during entire day. from 10:30 to 3pm

no action in the intraday or flat prices..then in the after hours some wanted to bid the price up?
no stocks are traded afterhours. .everbody trades the futurees not the real stocks anymore.

there is more 'activity' or volativtiy in the after hours than real regular trading hours

the price drops from 9460- 9320 in matter of half an hour in opening market.

either that is market manipulation or the market illiquid. 120 point spread in half an hour.

Yer new to this sort of thing I reckon'. You should try swing trading it sometime with real money, to see how it feels, before playing the role of a dum-dum.

I do sometimes trade after hours since I am not US based. Usually it’s not interesting. The market is less liquid. Less volume.

That’s why it can move on low volume.

But usually it doesn’t move that much.
Guess 80% of the action is intraday.

  5. lots of foreigner in Asia participate in the US exchanges.

  6. not in the index futures, there is not much movement in intra day either.
