After using this trading simulator I'm convinced technical analysis simply doesn't work

    I Know You

You don't know who you talking to online. Who do you think I am in real life? Could you be certain of your assumption based on my last 3 posts? There are a lot of ego maniacs in these forums.

  4. Until proven otherwise, all newly registered "aliases" are assumed to be part of the Surf clan...

  6. Price has minimal conditions that can be measured , filtered and quantified . This is the area where generic TA fails as it doesnt address whats important . Price Action can be assigned parameters from said conditions that represent repeatable patterns that occur ad nauseum . Over a large enough sample size encompasing all market conditions a probability can be assigned , this is your edge . These edges dont come from basic well promoted generic indicators . Price has certain characteristics such as volatility , momentum , range , trend ... without an intuitive system that adjusts to dynamics in these "definables" your success using TA will be limited or non existant . Without an understanding of price action before trying to apply indicators or whatever you are pushing shit up hill .... experience required .

PRICE TIME TREND VOLATILITY MOMENTUM RANGE . get a handle on them and get some rules pertaining to them , without an empirically tested rules based system you are a gambler . Rules are filters that adjust trading dynamically with changing market conditions . 99% of people here will NEVER get a handle on this ... close the thread now ;-)

Market is a living dynamic beast and if your system isnt you are doomed in the long term . Dynamic position size and stop losses are required and are beyond the realm of dumbasses

PS the only thing that can be ascertained from thread with titles like this is that the OP cannot do it , thats his limitation , his excuse for failure ,,, its just cant be done ... LOL

Yea, I know I only did it twice, however both profitable with basic concepts and risk management.

PS: I used stops, but please don’t tell Surf and botpro ;)
