I don't understand. I just see you removed what should have been an entirely unnecessary /sarc in order to make it appear as though I was being literal.
No, the point was to slam. To actually calculate cost/benefit would take a tremendous amount of work for me. For the author they don't even have the capacity. I respect the limitation and immediately address it. The author does not. They just want to slam. Hate the guy all you want. In many ways I do as well. His behavior is indefensible and has been an enormous negative to the future of the Republican brand. As a Reagan Republican that infuriates me. But irregardless DON'T FUCK WITH MATH!!! I hate that!!!!
Okay, I won't! As long as you don't fuck with the language. (No such word as "irregardless." Double negative.)
Sure, and who wouldn't like a lower mortgage payment, too? You can lower your mortgage payments below the interest component and capitalize the unpaid portion to your outstanding balance. But is that a good thing? In any event, I think the point is that the middle income crowd got table scraps whereas the lion's share of the tax cuts went to the people who really didn't need it. Yay!
please allow me.. there is no doubt that the tax cut is a net plus for the economy... already mentioned that... now in terms of the deficit... the USD index basically has not moved since the election, so the deficit plus the Fed cuts have not weakened the dollar in any way... you know why? because we are barely keeping pace with the other central banks. now, in Trump's mind, he might be looking for a much weaker dollar, say in the 2008 levels prior to the financial crisis.... it's a legit thought so as to make the US more competitive on exports. deficit is the least problem for the US due to the reserve currency status. this is a unique situation in that when we print we dilute the entire world and make America stronger.... see what's happening since 2008? there is your proof... some crisis happens, we dilute, we recover, but the rest of the world recover much slower.... without the reserve currency status you don't have this benefit... Venezuela, Argentina etc, they dilute they kill their currency instantly. an additional angle is - Obama also increased the deficit massively, but on a typical dems way - bigger government, more waste on social programs, illegal immigrants etc... plus the head wind of his energy policies and obamacare dead weight on businesses, that's why the obama recovery '09-16 felt so weak. Trump's deficit increase is spent on MAGA - making the US more competitive with tax cuts, and more strong by beefing up the military.
The tax cuts total only, $1.5 trillion or $150 billion per year. It also, benefitted most Americans. I do not count those who do not pay taxes. I say "only" because Obama spent $10 trillion during his 8 years and these extreme liberals did not criticize him, not once over spending so much monies and nothing to show for it. To be fair, GW Bush spent how many trillions on the Iraq and Afghanistan wars? Let us just say it is probably, atleast, $6 trillion. So, when globalists trying to destroy the US from within, spend like drunk sailors, it is A-okay for extreme liberals but, help us if President Donald Trump does anything to help the economy. Tax cuts help the US economy and generate jobs and taxes. All that is lost on the extreme liberal trolls. All they can do is mouth their lies and nonsense.
To save an imploding economy? Unlike Republicans, who increase deficits by cutting taxes. Just because.
he didn't save shit... all that's needed was the easy money... the Fed and Goldman Sachs did that. obama did nothing but provided head winds. name 1 fiscal policy or admin policy that helped.... yeah some people might argue with the government job creation programs, but those are the least efficient... the money could have worked lot better from the private sectors.
