No, He doesn't "want" it to happen. Yes, He has the power to stop it and will when everything has been fulfilled according to His plan. Why doesn't He stop It now? See below... the monsignor gets offerd a chance to play cog hill on sunday,so he asks the priest if he could do all the sunday masses because he needs to go to administer last rights to an old friend,he is out on his own shooting par,jesus and st pete are looking down from a cloud above ,pete asks jesus if he is going to let him get away with this,lying, skipping mass to play golf on the lord's day,just then he tees off on the par 3 17th and gets a hole in one,st pete is furious, jesus i just don't get you , this is unbelievable,jesus replies , "who's he going to tell"....now that you have the pic of jesus and st pete sitting up on a cloud, imagine that is you up there,sitiing with jesus, your a soul who has been to earth many times, presently you and jesus are looking down at the present home of your soul, a homeless man, a king,a boy or girl,of any race creed or color,watching that person make the human errors,that person knowing instictively the difference between right and wrong,that soul living another life getting older each time, smarter, imparting things on the world to nurture it's evolution, all the while keeping the free choice option open...and the hell could be the day to day existence of a crack whore or a pimp or a slave trafficer..use your imagination, there are a lot of ways life can be a living hell...but that soul may get burnt,drowned, tortured and it keeps getting recycled, just the body its in suffers..this is where the term old soul comes from...if you want to free think you have to be open to all avenues of thought
Free will. If God intervened in every bad thing we did, then we wouldnt have free will now, would we?
