Can someone please clarify the issue surrounding half margin on the eminis after hours. Refco and netfutures allow you to trade after hours on half margin whereas interactivebrokers don't. Is there some exchange ruling on this?
sounds like refco and netfutures are opening themselves up to more risk. the min margin is about 4k for SP eminis (ES), and half that during the trading day.
