after hour trading- apple

i saw unusally wide flucuations in the price of apple in after hours and prior to earnings announcement.

thoughts?

 

Yes, a lot of people were speculating.

 

Nowadays, its fair to say a lot of machines were speculating

 

The 8-K with the earnings details came out a couple minutes before the official 4:30pm announcement.

 

i did not check but i thought the volume was rather light before announcement

 

It is over $40 in pre-market this morning!
