I've gotta do this: http://www.latimes.com/news/nationw...1feb11,0,6802248.story?coll=la-home-headlines
Sounds like scary fun. But are people going to pay $25 to walk around on this thing? Seems kind of expensive to take the whole family for a horror walk... Maybe if they put a bungee-cord on the end of that thing it would be worth $25...
$25 is really pushing it, for the privilege of walking a mere 70 ft. in from the (free) edge of the Grand Canyon. Here's the best part, I thought: "Our priority is not to overdevelop," Powskey [an Indian guide] said. "We want to kind of keep it pristine here." Nothing says "pristine" like a man-made structure of 500 tons of steel and 90 tons of tempered glass, smack on top of a jewel of nature.
Hmm, 25$ a stroll. I guess thats cheaper than helicopter charter....make a great base jumping platform.
