Cheers went up as the news that the cleaning of Zuccotti Park had been called off spread through the massive crowd at the Occupy Wall Street camp. ---------------------- If the protestors clean up the park, do you realize they are taking away union jobs. I'd be willing to bet there are laws against private citizens cleaning a public park for just that reason. Can you imagine the litigation if a protestor, untrained in the proper use of a mop, got soap in his eye and required medical attention. Someone is going to get sued. Now if this is a private park, then these people volunteering to clean a private park without compensatin. I believe this is against the law also. Either way, these protestors are inadvertenly working for the man.
