Ninety-seven percent of the bus and train operators at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority are black, with only six white women out of more than 3,000 drivers, according to Metro documents — a lack of diversity at one of the region’s largest employers that has led to an acknowledgment of failure in affirmative-action documents and spawned a series of lawsuits.

The homogeneity, interviews with dozens of current and former Metro workers indicated, is a proxy to a clubby culture of favoritism in which merit has little to do with promotions, and accountability, such as noting safety violations, is a career death knell. In typical examples, court and Metro records show, a black man who spent eight years in prison for dealing PCP was promoted to a high-level management position soon after his release, and whites in the same positions as blacks with far less seniority are inexplicably paid less.…

It is a culture in which a white male engineer near completion of a Ph.D. was passed over for a management position in favor of a black man who was barely literate, multiple staffers said.

  2. and who's fault is this? not blacks, you can thank your fellow whitey, they make the laws, black man does not.

i have a really hard time blaming the black man for anything really because as far as i'm concerned all the stereotypical ghetto black behavior is enabled and perpetuated by white liberals.

Blacks constantly are being told, you've been wronged, the white man is out to get you, you deserve help, assistance, etc... If i'm a black guy and am constantly having this drilled into my head, at some point, i'll start to believe it.

So like I mainly blame the parents for a childs behavior, i blame whitey for black mans problems.

I tried using the bus system in Los Angeles once. Nearly all the drivers are Mexicans and if there aren't any Mexicans at the stop they don't stop. We would be so much better off to just not extend the helping hand to all these losers, they bring the quality of life down so far it's unreal.

We're headed right off the inflation cliff, I'm hoping that when the dust settles we can scrap all this affirmative action garbage, all the socialism in fact, and let winners be winners and losers be losers.
  5. Nobody needs to take responsibility for their own actions? Everything is OK so long as you get the blame right?

  6. liberal whites have been systematically keeping blacks in the gutter for decades whether they know it or not.

Visit down town Atlanta especially the court house and any government buildings or even the police department. It's much the same.
  8. I think that just about every major city is in the same situation.

Your right, its white people who are to blame for this shit, im wondering at what point white liberals will feel that we have properly atoned for our past sins.

I was born 20 years after the Civil rights act, yet i have to play by a tougher standard cause some people who were unrelated to me screwed over black people, i wonder will my children also have to pay the debt? What about my grand children? Great grand children? 100 years from now are we still going to have to pay for the sins of the past? At what point will people say we have properly atoned for our sins, so that everyone can start playing by the same rules?

Its funny cause liberals claim to be against racial discrimination, and they set up rules intentionally designed to descriminate against people based on race. You can not claim that you are against discrimination and that the way you are going to solve it is by discriminating against someone else.

I was reading national geographic recently about slavery in Brazil.
For every one African imported to the states twelve were imported into Brazil.
Brazil didn't end slavery until 1888.
Brazilians were stealing land from and murdering descendants of former slaves as recently as the 1980's.

Where is the worlds and liberals condemnation of Brazil?
