does anyone know of any good settings for the ADX/DM indicator for intraday trading? i previously have been using the standard (14,14) but would like to optimize it
the key to technical analysis, apart from the simple trendlines, support n resistance, is back testing. take the data, split into sections and try not to curve fit... a good outcome is probably 65% winners.. if your ADX or whatever you take is giving you >80% winners then either you have stumbled across a money printing machine or its bull****.. this advice was given to me buy a guy who has traded futures for 30 years and is a really big energy trader!!! ciao
