  2. Read the annual letters of berkshirehathaway

Best thing is that they're free.

It is about 300 pages net, take you like 5 hours of dedicated reading, or about a weekend if you were like me and read it through 3 times so that it all sunk in.

Why bother paying for someone when you can learn from the best investor for free.

  3. Someone told me about an advisory (timing) service using ProFunds, but they did not know the name. Has anyone heard of this?

  4. I looked at their site, and they show an equity graph of performance, but only thorugh September 2002. I wonder what happened in the past seven months?

And, why would they only make a list of their past reco's available to current subscribers? If it was impressive, it seems they would use it as a sales tool.

  7. Out of all the sites recommended, the first thing I do is look at the home page to see if they list any kind of results, track record, performance. Most don't - so my question is, how can they be taken seriously?

    Thanks for any answers.

    Hi KG,

You may want to send them a email and ask for their current performance figures. I found them to be very responsive to potential customer's questions via email.

    With kind regards,

    Rama.

  9. Rama, I assume you are talking about HotStix. I sent an emai and am waiting to hear back. KG, if you hear back please post here.

Anyone else with info on their track record - or anyone's track record - please post.

    Thanks!
