advisory services based on sentiment

  1. i used to have a couple subscriptions that gave signals for short term index trading based on sentiment that were quite good (unfortunately i didnt' have access to much capital and wasn't very good). sentiment-advisor.com went out of business, but they were quite good, and tim ord is pretty good, but does anybody use or know of any other good ones?

    thx

Phil Erlanger is doing extensive work on sentiment. He has an impressive track record. :)

here is one.the problem with trading based on sentiment is that it only really works on one side. the extreme fear side.
sentiment can stay bullish longer than you can stay solvent if you try to short on sentiment alone.this guy has been fighting the market for months.
