hello! please advise platform to backtest system. i'd like to test my system on futures. So i need platform with possibility to take data for many years. i knew Metastock, Tradestation, Omega.
Backtesting is in most cases useless. Omega? Oh boy! This is something like 10 year old story. I think this is the company that developed that cranky TS2000i and later changed its name to Tradestation technologies. Metastock? Reliability issues there. what about programmers? are there any programmers on Amibroker platform to write script for testing system? can i get INTRADAY historical data for Amibroker? is it free? i am interested only in futures.
