  1. Hi everyone,

Someone offered me some advice from my previous job, basically in a nutshell - Quit or you'll lose faith in yourself, if you continue working here.

His advice came in handy and so I turn over the table to you, what advice do you have to people in their early 20s, that has helped you in your life?

    Thanks in advance

  4. Find a partner who earns a decent living on their own.

This will come in handy when you want trade full time or start you own business.

when you are in your early 20's have patience, many people try to do things too quickly, especially socially, like sex, partying, marriage. They are done by 25. Many of those things are better with a little age and experience.

  8. Someone told me its not how good you are that matters but how good other people think you are.

It's true, but actually turns out to be what I hated about corporate life.

He's a recent partner at Goldmans now, FWIW, while I type pointless messages on internet forums.

    :D

Most of us overestimate what we can achieve in 1 year...but underestimate what we can achieve in 10 years.

(So allow time to learn, refine and get good at whatever you do)
