Hello everyone - I'm currently employed as a financial analyst for a top company. Stock market/Investing has always been a passion of mine. A new Scottrade office has just opened up in my area and I have a chance to work for them as a 'stock broker'. This role is quite different than that of a financial advisor it appears as I wouldn't actually be managing peoples accounts with strategy as much as just processing trades and so forth. Can I please get some serious advice on if this career path has merit in the financial world, and the next steps that could progress from this one? I have much respect for those on this forum. Thanks for your time.
