most important advice. After you have learned from the books & professional talkers/writers, go and cleanse your mind. decontaminate your mind from all the wrong and false teachings. Then with a clean clear mind, go and develop your own holy grail. But if you have a mentor who is a professional trader, then the above is not necessary.
depends on what time frame you are trading.... if there is no pull back, in the time frame you ae trading, do not trade. all markets pull back, eventually. when you miss a bus it is stupid to run after it.....wait for the next one always trade around pullbacks.......if after a pull back the trend does not continue then you know the trend has changed
doing well. focusing on right things not my journal though. i think i have finally found what is important in brooks method. like IamTheCasino said it is the trend cycle that is key and i am trend trading entering on pullbacks or fading pull backs....... also i am knowing now when not to trade. and not bothered if i miss a move.....trading opportunities always come along got it all together
Padman, good to hear. Are you putting any averages or anything on your chart these days? You like the 20 if I recall. https://elitetrader.com/et/threads/...t-right-here-baby.335635/page-15#post-5162295
20 is there but i do not know why.......apart from the fact that it gives a general idea of trend. but the main thing is that i have understood trend trading ,brooks, and when not to trade. i only look for pull backs
do they teach you that all markets do is: move, pull back, move again? that is one line ! why do they write millions of words or make 1000s of videos to confuse the fuck out of you?. so that you have to pay for it...can they charge for one line?
