  2. The chart posted last night was raw intraday data - non-debriefed. There are two corrections both involving a downshift of channel slope for the fuschia and olive drab channels to give respectively, a P3 down @ 1:55 PM and a P3 up @ 3:15 PM.

This AM got sucked in on that double pace jump and as of now, 12:28 PM, am still looking for a P3 up confirmation. As gman says - the bastids are at it.

  3. Many moons have passed since last I soiled these pages with drool and confusion. However it does bear noting that the market today completed a down Friday/down Monday troika and set a new 12 year low in doing so. The question is, "Is it safe?" and the answer for me is, "I don't know or care". However some say Dow 5000 might be getting near it. On the other hand the CW says Dow 7000 should do the trick.

The DF/DM is discussed most recently in the most recent version of "The Stock Traders' Alamanac". The Hirsch's have been looking at this indicator for about 30 years. It has a very interesting predictive profile and is not, IMO, to be trifled with, especially when there's three of the suckers in a row.

  4. Only two moons, actually.

  5. You're quite right nonlinear. Two out of thirteen isn't very many.

  6. I am listening to "Thirteen Moons" while driving. It's a book on CD. Ever since I've discovered that I could listen to books on the road, driving in traffic is a joy. Sometimes I wish there were a congestion on the highway, so that I could get a bigger piece of the story.

  7. "Thirteen Moons" was an excellent book. Charles Frazier has a style which I find hard to describe but it's kind of like clenching your fist and then relaxing it completely. I hope that his third novel is in the making.

  8. A non-down Friday. Fortuitous? Probably not but who knows. Will say though that one should not bank on an up Monday - it's not much better than a coin toss. Oh where, oh where is that bear market rally, la, la, la. Stumbled across these Aussie chicks who do a much better la, la, la:

Just post a blotter you tool.. when a single one of you proves you have made any money we'll shut up.. until then you are just another paper loser drawing lines

As I've left the IR hread, it seemed appropriate to post this missive from the above elsewhere and where better than in the manure pile in the back of the garden. One wonders what someone like this thinks about on a good day or perhaps this was a good day.

There is nothing I feel compelled to prove to this nutbar with the 'god' obsession and if the JHM is too complicated for him to fathom, then all well and good. If he has his own simple method, which works, then AWAG again. His limited worldview may not allow him to appreciate that everyone doesn't have to think like he does but, sorry Charlie, that's the way it is.

It is the mark of a manipulator that they take partial qoutes out of context and then fashion them to their ill-conceived agenda. My decision to leave the thread has nothing to do with anything contained in her potty posts. Rather it has to do with my current need to look more carefully at the relations between money velocity, pace, volatilty and overlap and these researches I will do on my own.
Let me reiterate what I said in my penultimate post that I thank most sincerely all who have contributed to the Hershey method threads and wish them every success in their trading.

OK, I quote you in full. Let's get it open and honest - this thread is not providing the answers or even the stimulus for you hang in here searching for lost lines.
Jack has put you in a situation where you have more questions than answers and the B Team told you this departure point was a When, not an If.
But come back and prove me wrong and show SCT working and I will repeat post all over the place that SCT works.
Now you are shooting off on a tangent from one of Jack's tangents - enjoy the ride because when someone tries to save you wasted time and energy and paper money you take it as a personal attack.
Good luck, you will need it.

The above is reposted from another thread.

    Dearest tara,

I have forgotten more than you will ever know. Why you and your clutch of dolts feel it is perquisite that someone 'show' you something is quite beyond me. I owe you nothing and care even less as to whether or not you are just the best trader that there ever was.

You clearly have no idea at all what I am talking about. The tangents as you refer to them are really not so tangential. The best way I can put it is this. When you can understand what is meant by the statement: "The frequency modulation of the stretch-squeeze indicator is the leading indicator of price movement, firstly on the YM and then secondarily on the ES", please let me know and a discussion can proceed from there. Until then, spare me your hearfelt concern for my welfare.

You and the rest of the B-team, are soooo predictably boring, repetitious and suffused with yourselves, that you've quite forgotten how to think and it is clear that nothing is going to change that. So puleez, don't contaminate the IR thread with your nonsensical drivel. Chat with me here in the garden if you really feel the need to unload.
