I've just been looking at a demo TC2000 CD with data through July 25, 2003. TC2000 seems to offer two types of EPS figures, the % change in EPS for each of the last four quarters from the corresponding respective quarter a year ago and the percentile rank of each % change figure. However, a cursory look through the All Stocks watchlist reveals that EPS percentile ranking figures are missing for a great many quarters for a great many securities. The significance of this is that stock screening based upon earnings criteria becomes of little or no value. Am I missing something? I'd really like to know since TC2000 seems to well thought of. Also, the data sheets show % changes rather than the actual quarterly EPS figures. It's not possible to verify the correctness of the % change figures because the basic EPS figures are not there. Any thoughts?
