thanks i found eVGA e-Geforce 7600 GT KO for 160$. I haven't read much about this card but anyone let me know if its good for celron. Ive also looked at a Nvidia Geforce 6800 GT for 175.00$ (not the same one as above)a Nvidia 6800 Ultra for 240.00$ and An ATI all-in-wonder X800 XT Radeon for 169.99$ if any of these are good for a celron let me know.
If I were you, I would add another monitor for now. And then when Windows Vista comes out in 6 months, then you can buy a brand new computer.
Thanks for the advice. I consider getting this one: http://www.pny.com/products/quadro/nvs/440x16NvsPciEx.asp I just hesitate and want to make sure I don't have any hardware issues after I get it. That's my motherboard: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?dlc=en&lc=en&product=1127350&cc=us&docname=c00378480 Should work, right? Thanks to anyone taking a look at it. TM
Don't know where else tom post this. Does anyone have an opinion or has anyone here bought Austin Passamonte's method. His site is coiledmarkets.com.
Well.... it should work because you have a PCIEx16 slot. That you have onboard video potentially complicates the issue... not only for the Quadro NVS but for any other video card. But go ahead and try it. Worst that should happen is that you have to get a different computer.... one not cheapened by onboard video.
Windows Vista... I'm not sure if I should upgrade to it when it releases. Can most applications and software be migrated to this new system?
I don't know much about the technicals. My mobo: A7N8X-X (The link contains all the specifications. Please take a look!) I have: 1 VGA port 1 S-Video port 1 DVI output port I think I can only get 1 extra monitor. Do I need to buy one video card per one monitor (I have 3 PCI slots left)?
