Activity Code

    Quick question. Can anyone tell me what the proper 'Professional Activity Code' to use on schedule C? I traded equities in the first half of 2002 and emini futures in the second half. This is my first year of full time trading. I did not do the MTM election last year. Are there specific forms to fill out to apply for Trader Status?

    I'd use 523900.

    No forms to fill out unless you elect MTM.
