Know of anyone who has attempted to use the Interactive Broker's API to link IB trades using your data feed instead of theirs ?
We have had many users coming from IB. But I'm not sure exactly what they're doing with it. I'm not very familiar with IB, however I do know quite a bit about ActiveTick.
what is websocket api, can it be used with excel as an ondemand api and merged to formulas on the worksheet or no?
They're likely replacing the crumby data feed from Interactive with yours and simply doing the trades thru the IB API.
