Hello. I am a long time trader. My new (last 8 months) firm's software does not have direct dde link functionality. I can get this if I learn how to program aCtive x using visual basic. Staying with my firm, in order to get DDE link functinality, I can either switch to redi plus (ive used it before) or stay with current platform (Carlin Accel) and learn to program this. For a decent Excel user, with little programming ability, can anyone estimate a range of time that it would take me to learn how to do the dde link using active x and visual basic? I appreciate any input anyone has...Thank you.
