Active and Tradeable

What's a good source for stocks likely to be active and tradeable on a given day? Thanks.

I found stocks reporting earnings to be too volatile for me ... I just ended up sticking with a basket of heavily traded stocks and ETFs ... mainly just the big names

 

Volatility can be played to your advantage. You can use option straddles to capture the volatile moves either up or down.
