+1 Same here. Saved my skin a few times and found Acronis the most reliable disk imaging product. Most people wait until their HDD craps out before replacing yet you can check the number of errors on your disk to determine its end of life. I standard replace them every 18 months and after one month from new don't bother with checking. (they either crap out straight away or last a minimum of 18 months after which there is a peak of non-explainable failiures up to approx 3 years after which they seem to last until about 5-6 years)
