SWC: >But what would you do if you had one of your children >in the restroom helping them go. And two pervs started >fucking in the stall next to you? >How would you feel about sex in a public bathroom at that >point? Would you feel they had the right to it or not? The "right" or legality of having sex in a 'public' stall is not the issue here. IMO, that issue can be (and has likely been) dealt with by whatever entity owns the restroom -- I'm guessing it IS illegal to have sex in the airport bathroom at MSP, and I hold that the owner has the right to make those choices. At issue is whether the cops can stare through the cracks just for fun or if they must first establish probable cause. I land squarely on the latter. JB
Dr: >One thing in ACLU's brief I have a problem with is their >argument that had there been sex in the stall "...it would >not have called attention to itself in a closed stall in the >public washroom.". >That's quite an assumption. In including this point I think >the ACLU weakens its position since it admits to the >possibility that a washroom stall's status as a private space >may be compromised if the activity taking place in it comes to >the attention of the washroom-using public. I agree. JB
What would you do? â Daddy / Mommy, are those/ that person next door hurtâ? âWhat is that noiseâ? âWell son / daughter, they are _____. fill in the blank. Or maybe you kick in the stall door and beat the hell out of the offenders and say to the kids, âI just don't like those kind of peopleâ. Serious question, What would you do?
No doubt. As actually beleive craig will beat the rap as nothing happened but communication. Very touchy case.
CE: >Serious question, What would you do? Before I can believe it's all that serious, I'd have to believe that your response would be the same separate from the makeup of the couple -- two sexy women? Guy and girl? Two guys?, etc. If it 'depends', that's a different topic than I've been discussing. JB
I would usher my child outside without answering questions and find my wife. Tell my wife to take them far away and expect a phone call. I would make a phone call to 911 and ask for an ambulance to said addres and let them know someone was seriously hurt. Then I would go back in the restroom and confront them. It may get ugly it may not. That would depend on the pervs actions...could get violent..could end with them running away scared of the incoming sirens. But I have no doubt in my mind that if it did get ugly I would fight them so hard I would break both my hands in the process. Just for the record I am no homophobe. They could be two men, a man and a woman or two women. The simple fact that this occured within such close vicinity to me and my child is enough to warrant reaction.
Wait a minute... you believe a man and a woman having sex in a washroom is 'perverted'? I get the feeling that you're using the word in its colloquial sense - that is, to signify some sort of abnormal act or an act of moral transgression. So you believe it's abnormal or somehow immoral to have sex in a public washroom? And yet you aren't a homophobe? That seems paradoxical to me. The fact that you would break your hands on a woman is also slightly disturbing. You did go out of your way to say that you might break your hands on both of them.
Sex in a washroom with other people in it is most certainly perverted. Nope, grew up going to fire island NY every weekend..lots of gay freinds. And my accountant of 5 years is openly gay. I am not a homophobe. breaking hands on a female may be over the top. But I would protect my families honor to the death. Nothing more for me to say here. You get it or you do not.
