ACLU hits a new low...ACLU: Sex in Restroom Stalls Is Private...

  1. Yes, I'm deranged.

Who knows, maybe your child will touch a door handle at Ohare and will get the white sticky stuff on their hands and have a paper cut and if the sample if fresh enough maybe they will get AIDS.

The positive implications of men being able to have sex in public restrooms are endless.

    Do you get it yet?

  2. Don't pretend to be a moron (unless, of course, if it comes naturally). This was an airport restroom with a reputation. So much so, that it required monitoring by undercover police officers. Assuming that Craig had not been intercepted by the police and had "communicated" with a like-minded restroom enthusiast, where do you think they would "close the deal?"

This is sick. I'm outta here.

  3. i don't know where the deal would have been consummated but you can't bar free speech b/w adults. but let me ask you this..

would you feel as strongly about this if YOU had taken a WOMAN you met at the local pick-up into the men's room to make out?

  4. Would it make you feel any better if it were crap on door handle?

Have you ever heard of the "Mile High club"? Sure you have, and what of this?

    I think it's great

    It shows 2 things:

    1) Larry Craig would claim a right to have sex in a bathroom as a defense

    2) ACLU cares more about the pervert looking at you through the hole in the stall wall, than they do about anyone else (except for perhaps NAMBLA)

In other words, it shows scumbags for the scumbags that they are

  7. I was troubled by this case from the beginning. As uncomfortable as it makes me, I have agree with the ACLU. Accepting the cop's claims, all Craig did was make an overture for sex. He was charged with disorderly conduct. If he was standing in the middle of the restroom waving his wanger around asking people for sex, I could see a disorderly conduct charge. I can't see how some fairly innocuous behavior inside a stall can constitute disorderly behavior. If they want it to be illegal to solicit homo sex in a public restroom, then the legislature needs to pass a law to that effect.

I certainly don't condone bathroom sex, and I agree the police should be able to charge people doing it, even if they are in the relative privacy of a stall. But this case never came close to that kind of conduct. I also agree it is appropriate for the police to try to stop the practice or discourage it. This kind of sting operation, with policemen sitting in johns for who knows how long, strikes me as a terrible way to accomplish those goals however, as well as a misuse of resources. The potential for misunderstanding and ruining someone's life with a bogus charge is clearly present.

I think the police overreached here. They charged Craig with a crime that his conduct did not fit, knowing he would be very reluctant to fight the charge. For all we know, they make a practice of shaking down travelers this way, kind of an airport version of the southern speed trap.

  9. Right. As they say, if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to be afraid of. That's the standard line that is used when they TAKE AWAY our freedoms so may as well use it here. :(

I fear the American Association Against Civil Liberties (the current USA military regime)

  10. Bill O'Idiot was trying to call the ACLU the most dangerous organization in America today on his radio show.

Why are the neoklan repugniklans so fearful of the legal process?
