Wait a minute, is the OP complaining that IB credited the account too soon with the money??!!! I have read all the posts three times now and I am really confused. Chances are IB's already gotten the money. No brokerages would ever let you trade if the money is not there. What if you opened a position right away after seeing the funds being credited in your account when in reality the money is not there yet, what IB is going to give you its own money to trade? LOL It's just your bank that's a bit slow in showing the debit in your bank account. That's the only explanation.
