You can grow a small account in FX, faster than you can almost anywhere else, given the leverage. But, that can (and does) also work against you, when you don't approach the market with a a degree of systematized procedures for entry and exit.

Consistency is the key and always has been for the short-term trader. Learning the right "tools" to bring to work with you always helps. FX is geared for the systematic approach to trading, unlike almost any other market in existence (if you are not a true Quant Trader, and precious few are).
