According to the donkeys at MSNBC, we are now running concentration camps.

  1. My thoughts:

-Reinforce security at areas of known high traffic illegal crossings. When Clinton built the Wall across Southern California it unintentionally pushed crossing further East into more dangerous areas. those areas are mainly known and can be reinforced and monitored. When crossings are incentivized down, so is the crime around smuggling and charging to bring people to the border as well as those who prey on crossers.

    - Empty detention centers through higher deportations and work to stop the crossing of unaccompanied minors. No family separations so that they can be processed and returned as a family. This is so dangerous for the children and they will keep coming unless it is stopped. This is the biggest crisis because they cannot be cared for and who knows what they are subjected to in the crossings. What is U.S. supposed to do with 5000 children being sent here unaccompanied? Make it known publicly the policy and work with Mexico to cut it off before they get to the border. Bes thing we can do for the kids is not subject them to the journey and then being jailed.

-Change asylum laws to allow people to apply at the U.S. embassy in their own country or U.S. embassy at the first safe country of entry to stop incentivizing people to make the dangerous journey to get to a checkpoint or cross illegally to then claim or disappear.

    - To avoid inustice, process the DACA and grant them residency, not citizenship unless obtained by other means so they can work and live here as 99% of them already are doing and being members of society.

    - Change the work visa rules to stop allowing companies to take advantage of the system to simply hire overseas people.

    - Punish employers who hire undocumented workers to remove incentive for people to cross in a dangerous situation.

    - Increase the quotas on immigrants to allow more to apply to come here legally. I guarantee an increased quota will still result in less entrants than come in illegally but may shift crossings down if other policies are implemented.

    - Improve tracking information on overstays which is an even bigger problem. As soon as you get to 30 days past the end date of tourist visa (to give fair cushion/notice), their name is automatically entered into a warrant and their fingerprints taken upon entry are put into the system so they can be caught and deported and banned. I think overstays drop if you show we are enforcing it and the results are severe for you if you don't come in and apply for extension or ignore it.

    - take money away from countries who don't need it and spend it on the measures above for 1- 3 years.

  2. Nobody truly supports separating kids and Trump fucked up doing this big time. GOP is too scared to condemn it and Dems are grandstanding.

But your post points out that what is the U.S. supposed to do with 300-400 kids coming every night without parents? We have to quickly build shelters to house them and it will get worse because every parent in Central America knows if your kid touches U.S. soil they are in so who cares how dangerous the journey is to get there. This is the same stupid Cuba policy that encouraged thousands to drown in the ocean trying to touch dry land. But if you were Haitian you were sent back no matter where you arrived.

I t would be nice for the U.S. to call a summit of Central American countries and sit them down and show them what we are dealign with and this is their problem too.

Mexican remittances were ~ 25B before the housing bust, down to ~ 19B after. Back up now. I think it's ~ 2% of their GDP. None of these countries are truly interested in stopping the game. It's a profit center for them.

Stupid criminals shove their kids across an international border and tell both the children and the US Immigration officials: “Figure it out”.

That the dimwitted Dems are calling the holding areas ‘Concentration Camps’ is fooling only the retarded, basically, the Liberal Base.

When people stop jumping over walls to get into them, then we can start crying foul.

    Absolute nonsense from the Leftards.
