They can get raped, but let's get them out before they give forced birth to unwanted Americans.

Also, we can track a girl's menstrual cycle but not the children separated from their parents.

Also, what part of illegal don't they understand? (Judged ruled in favor of migrant girls wanting abortions and ordered federal agency to quit their shit in March of last year).

  3. Supreme Court gives Trump victory on immigration detention

    By Lawrence Hurley

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Supreme Court on Tuesday endorsed the U.S. government's authority to detain immigrants awaiting deportation anytime - potentially even years - after they have completed prison terms for criminal convictions, handing President Donald Trump a victory as he pursues hardline immigration policies.

The court ruled 5-4 along ideological lines, with its conservative justices in the majority and its liberal justices dissenting, that federal authorities could pick up such immigrants and place them into indefinite detention anytime, not just immediately after they finish prison sentences.

Funny how every day that goes by, the "emergency" at the border seems more and more justified.

1 million illegals who've actually gone all the way through the lengthy court system and been given a final removal order yet haven't been deported, another 1-2 million criminal aliens who remain on the loose. And ICE evidently doesn't even have the manpower or facilities to promptly take custody of deportable aliens who are actually already in a state/local jail or prison.

  6. Why would they want to waste money holding them when they are to be deported. Does not sound like a victory, just more money to hold and care for them rather than kick them out. Sounds more like a liberal victory to keep them here and cuddle with them.

So much for due process and speedy trials, and tourism.

The ruling, authored by conservative Justice Samuel Alito, left open the possibility that some immigrants could challenge their detention. These immigrants potentially could argue that the use of the 1996 federal law involved in the case, the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act, against them long after finishing their sentences would violate their due process rights under the U.S. Constitution.

Most of the plaintiffs in the case are legal immigrants.

The law states the government can detain convicted immigrants “when the alien is released” from criminal detention. Civil rights lawyers in the case argued that the language of the law shows that it applies only immediately after immigrants are released. The Trump administration said the government should have the power to detain such immigrants anytime.

  9. You can't just kick them out without a hearing if they assert an amnesty claim which of course they have all been trained to do, and, oh by the way, there is an 800,000 backlog.

Therein lies the dilemma and the core of the issue.

It can only be addressed through legislation, which has not and probably will never happen.

The whole set-up is a lib victory and these little adjustments will not make much difference. The U.S. has lost control of its southern border, even moreso. Nothing on the horizon will stop the trend.

And - of late- the lefties like to be the hundredth person that day to pop up and say that most illegals are here through visa overstay as if that is news or something. Ahh, okay. So what point does that make? Oh, that we have lost control on that front too. Nice.

  10. the decision is that the U.S. can VOLUNTARILY keep them detained......after serving time for crimes.... you created a different response. You can kick them out if they committed a crime and served prison time but seems they are to be held indefinitely.. how is this a victory?
