According to the donkeys at MSNBC, we are now running concentration camps.

  1. I think we can all agree (can't we?) that we can do better here keeping family together thru the process? This does nothing to keep drug runners, terrorists and criminals with true intent from crossing. These are people looking for better life for themselves & their kids.

  2. Sorry, but the entire thinking world is against this measure of separating young kids from their parents. It's medieval bullshit reminiscent of much darker times in human history. You attach yourself to this thing and it will cling to you like dog shit on hiking boots.

Seriously? Do you live in a cave? That photo is iconic.
That's OK... pretty much everything you're "almost certain of" is wrong, so you're on track. :)

  4. All I want to do is lay the blame for this mess exactly where it belongs, and that is on congress. Why doesn't the shit stick to their boots? Why are they continually given a pass when it is their inability and apparent indifference to the continuous human suffering that their inaction has caused? Are they ever held to account for anything, anything at all? Decades my friend, decades, and all they've done is pontificate and watch. It's on them. Every kid crying, every mother and father wailing, every dead body in some desert and every American citizen negatively impacted by this. The whole god damn thing, on them, and I won't be persuaded that anyone else is to blame when it's so painfully obvious who has facilitated this abomination. And for what? A voting block and slave labor. They deserve nothing but contempt. All Trump is doing is exposing them for what they are and of course everyone wants to kill the messenger. Trumps crime is he is forcing everyone to look in the mirror, and they don't like that.

Spare us the propaganda, foreign troll. It's the parents who are doing the separating.

10,000 of the 12,000 children in HHS custody were sent here alone by their parents. As for the remainder it's very simple: don't cross the US border illegally and you'll have zero chance of being separated from your children. Period.

Fuck off and worry about immigration policy in your own country.

Your take on locking up pot smokers for a full year on their 1st offense? Law on the books after all

if you're asking my personal feelings on whether there should be a law that locks up pot smokers for a year, I would tell you I do not agree with the law and think pot should actually be made legal entirely.

But just because I feel that way doesn't mean I accept violating the law. If it exists, it should be adhered to. Otherwise it opens up a whole host of laws that people feel they can break because they don't agree with the law. The law is the law. Don't like it? Get it changed. Otherwise, that's the way it goes, bro. And if you choose to violate the law as it is written, then you risk paying the penalty (and your kids as well).

Actually, I don't think that is correct. I think a great deal was done. For example, during the Obama administration, the flow of illegal immigration into the country was brought to a trickle! That's continued under Trump. However there is quite a difference between the Nazi-like tactics of the Trump administration and the way these illegal immigrants and asylum seekers were handled under Obama.

Trump lied again when I heard him say Germany's crime rate went way up because they accepted all those refugees. Actually their crime rate is down near historic lows. (Trump just pulls these 'alternate facts' out of his ass apparently.) Currently Trump has been using a gang problem in inner cities to justify immoral acts of his own administration. The immigration problem is a different problem from the gang problem.
