Don't know about this fella, never heard of him but it's very possible to be a good coach but a lousy player etc.

In football (the game played with a round ball) most of the top coaches had very mediocre careers (some hardly played in the top leagues at all).

The flipside to this is that many of the superstar players make lousy coaches and usually fail, big time.

Football and trading are not the same I admit but I reckon there is some similarities in the concept.

Also, I know a broker that is a real money maker for his clients, always getting them into good positions and out at the right time. But he himself is a real loser when it comes to trading his own money, so much so that he doesn't do it anymore. And I can understand how this is possible.

Back to the markets, long term trend is still up therefore we must give weight to the bull case, especially now as there are cover stories or leader article saying doom & gloom.....

Also, going long here is hard, going short feels (to me anyway) a lot easier...........
