This is actually hilarious. I observed an MLM guy when I was back in college. It was creepy. He was all about the image. I'm not even sure if he realized it was a scam. He had a suit, clean cut, confident attitude. He was pitching people at the cafe of a book store that I used to read in. Also saw the Amway group pitches go down there with groups of women. HA!

(they had great books, awesome math and stats texts, econometrics, futures mag, much more)

He had been trained. It was incredible. MLM is real. It thrives on low IQ people.

Such ugly attempts to make money fast selling courses really spoils the reputation of TA. Its oversimplified version is easy to sell and this is the burden of distrust that true TA traders have to bear.

Kudos for you, for a good video editing, but the text like this, doesn't match the pitch. Looks like from a new Fast and Furious movie.

The accent is alright, for daily life communication, but the accent & pitch, doesn't follow up, with video quality. The audio/microphone also isn't the best one, - you should hire a better voice ,,actor'' ?

In the end, 100% you're the maker of that video, & the name of the tittle :

,,Absolutely the best explanation of technical patterns''

Is a little bit - over the top.

That might work against your favor, since it might annoy some folks around here, and in return, they will thumb down the video , and that will effect, how friendly youtube algos will be, with your videos. Given the fact, it's the first video of the channel.

Beside, since you're the author, it becomes advertising, and to do that, you need to become a sponsor of the site.

The sound of his English is fine because I'm sure you're smart enough to figure out what he's talking about. Yeah, I get it, its irritating to you.

I remember in college (U.S. university) many students would drop their college class when they had a professor or TA that spoke in "non-native English" but strangely other "non-native English" speakers even if they were from a different country as the speaker did not drop the same class.

Those students that dropped the class would eventually have to take it again to fulfill their academic requirements to graduate and most likely at a time that was not convenient.

Yet, the same was said about me as a "non-native English" speaker when I was in charge of a study group. The same was said again about me in the U.S. military and again about me when I arrived here at ET by a few I actually spoke to on the telephone.

They were much ruder than you via saying my English was "street slang". It reminded me about the commentary in college by others about the professor and TA's. Ironically, they couldn't speak my native languages nor did I hold it against them until they attacked my English.

Seriously, what if the info had been useful to you by the "non-native English" speaker, you meet someone in person that's a "non-native English" speaker but you need something from them, you're someplace at an office and you need to ask someone "non-native English" speaker a question or you go somewhere on vacation to a foreign country and you ask questions to a "non-native English" speaker...

I'm sure you will tolerate their English and be less rude. In fact, I remember in college an individual that needed the class to graduate...he still dropped the class on the 2nd day when everybody else did not. He truly could not tolerate the "non-native English" speaker. In fact, he stated it was like "watching someone rake their fingernail on a chalk board".

On another note, I didn't believe the title about patterns and the video. I didn't find the content useful after watching the video...nothing to do with his "non-native English" speech. The video was a waste of my time that I will never get back. :D

P.S. To be fair, I grew up around non-native English speakers and I lived in South Korea & Portugal for a few years after the military...I'm use to listening to non-native English speakers.

    Americans can be so arrogant.

    I’m an american.
Cut the guy a little slack.
    He is trying.

he probably never should have asked people to say what they think. Especially with this bunch of every vigilant scam police on ET

When I came to America and spoke no English, I thought Americans were the dumbest people. I was within a block of Key Food store and asked someone for directions. Of course I mis-pronounced it as K-Food. The lady said there's no such store around here :). Now when someone makes similar mistake I have same dumb look on my face. It takes extra effort to understand non-native speaker or unfamiliar accent.

I don't think we're dumb, it's just I think we live in a kind of a bubble separated from most of the world. I wasn't born in US so I can relate a little better to people outside of US.
I remember I was traveling in Thailand and the driver was telling me how there are lots of road accidents caused by truck drivers because they are sleep deprived. I asked him why they don't just stop to sleep. He gave me that look and said - because they won't make enough to feed their families. I felt like peiveledged dumb ass.

I think, it's more of an issue with law system, making truck drivers unafraid of working overtime in exchange of safety.

Quick look says , that Thai truck drivers are making from 30000 to 100 000 Thai Bahts
    (work hours per week unknown)

    That's $1000 - $3000 per month.
(don't know prior to taxes or after)
