You're right about the drawdowns. With the backtesting criteria I programmed the drawdowns was a little more than what i'm used to however it did give me profits with a 70% win rate. It did make a lot when the vehicle was in a definite trend. Sideways market would have the drawdowns. I'm looking to hedge with a another vehicle that goes in the opposite direction during choppy times. I also need a system that doesn't require me to be tied to my computer, so i'm using my blackberry to receive the alerts and place the trades. I'd rather be tied to my Blackberry. Happy Trading!
As far as i know the Blackberry is the only one with close to instant incoming email. Other providers use a different platform that poll so many minutes to check for emails. So i've been told, need to do own research.
