Abdominal exercises/home ab machines that don't hurt your back

    I think he might be talking about one of these.

    I hear what you're saying Rock. The fact is though, there just aren't too many ab workouts you can safely do if you have a back injury. Re: situps though - I agree. Soon as you raise your upper body six inches off the floor you've quit using most of your abs and started using your quads.

    When I was boxing one of the best burns I found though, was head-down on an incline bench, grab a 45lb plate, lean halfway back and do twists. Also not recommended if you have a back injury :).
