Shouldn't that be Texas gonna California? California Faces Summer Blackouts from Climate Extremes https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/california-faces-summer-blackouts-from-climate-extremes/
Still dealing with a substandard electrical grid that has killed hundreds, and now a lack of running water, inferior infrastructure continues to plague war-torn Somalia... no wait, make that the US state with the 9th largest GDP on the entire planet. Thanks Governor Abbott. A North Texas community woke up to no water Wednesday morning after supply issues Several residents in the Austin Corners neighborhood confirmed their water was cut off around 8 a.m. https://www.wfaa.com/article/news/l...pply/287-3fc14dcc-dd65-4fa7-8cac-b3b06e9d9b08
Youre living in the past. California has rolling blackouts like one day a year now, Texas is a weekly occurrence and now water is unreliable. Greg Abbot could duck up a wet dream.
Don't know what planet you are on. Maybe you are not getting much info out on the Mothership circling the Hale-Bopp Comet. For those of us who live in PG&E territory it is one disaster after another. Frigging PG&E in fact was driven into bankruptcy for burning a good part of northern caliifornia and many other areas down down and killing many. Oh, I see their deadly grid system problems don't count as long as the lights stay on. Also. In fact they have many, many outages where they simply shut the system down - in extreme heat or extreme fire conditions- but do not call it blackout because they intentionally shut it down. Where the frig have you been. California has been ablaze of late in the summers, last summer, this summer in progress, whatever. Sometimes the electric company causes the fires and sometimes it has to shut them down due to fires. Either way, their grid is not up to the task and is part of the problem. Sheesh. And here we go again, right on schedule. Oh, that's right. I am living in the past just because it does not impact you. PG&E expands instant blackout program for 2022 as wildfire risks loom in California https://www.sacbee.com/news/california/fires/article262629732.html
Both Texas and California had the same issue Un-insulated power lines Fire was from..in Texas is was ice and in California it was sparking Southern California Edison (SCE) is installing insulated power lines along The Old Road in Valencia, California
California has its problems but not like Texas. If I recall correctly in 2020 California had a rolling blackout on 2 days while Texas completely shut down on millions of people, causing 80 deaths, for like 5 days. The deficiency in Texas was something like 20k megawatts, California has the capacity to backload that amount and more by being connected to a regional grid. California‘a main problems are in growing usage and Texas is in shut infrastructure. We will see how the summer goes but no state is as vulnerable to power loss as Texas. And to add to the problems these idiots have let the water go to shit in some areas of Texas. Just out of curiosity, have you ever been anywhere in Texas?
Most definitely. So we can skip the little test. Most likely you have too and want to tell us that and have them think you are an expert on everything there now. That is how the New Jersey mind rolls. You go to some state on vacation and immediately start letting them know you know more than they do. Nothing worse than the sight of a New Jersey license plate when you are in another state. What you are missing is that the issue that you lefties keep raising is that Texas mismanagement of the grid is deadly and dangerous and results in blackouts. Unlike the progressive states. But management- or lack thereof- the grids in California has resulted in deaths and danger on a massive scale. They cause fires and they also fail to protect the grid against fires from other causes by placing lines underground and by doing proper brush management and control. It does not have to be like or unlike Texas. The point being that shitty, el crapo management has caused many deaths and loss of property. Did you fail to see my point that PG&E was driven into bankruptcy from lawsuits from all of its shit mismanagement resulting in loss. You and your tard buddies know that you poke Texas in the eye for political purposes. And I point out that shit California has its own severe grid management problems. From there you try to corner me into making a case that it is or is not in the same form as Texas. No. Homey don't play that game. Texas has work to do. California has work to do, buy you jaundiced attempt to make it look like Texas's shit stinks but California's does not is an automatic fail. I get it though. Even California is putting everyone on alert for what could come this summer but for you, hey, Texas. California has Gavin Newsom so any problems there are climate change caused by republicans not by California mismanagement.
