What reason did they give for the "freeze". Settlement> settlement for what? Sounds very shaky. I would definitely be seeking ways for restitution. have you spoken with other traders who got screwed like you?
proprietary business. Traders had their funds pooled in the LLC. The LLC management told us that they were able to distribute only 20% of the funds at that moment. Still waiting for the rest.
if you have ever read LimitDown's post here too you can see he was also one of the former traders who was hurt. Might want to PM him.
