    Straightforward questions like

    - coin flipping with fair and unfair coins
    - calculating the expected value of something
    - triangular FX arbitrage
    - a problem where you had to apply the formula for the geometric sum to find some probability

    @zmfactor
    Could you share what kind of behavorial questions did they ask?
    Also, details you found regarding Aardvark. There's not much info, I found regarding Aardvark. It seems there are 21 employees.

  8. i interviewed with them first round

    they asked me:

    basic probability stuff (flip a fair coin x times...)

    they asked me basic option theory (shorts and puts, no straddles or spreads or anything like that, even tho its easy if u wiki it...)

    they asked me some exchange rate/ credit swap questions.

    basic math.

    i got the idea that they were basically just guaging my market knowledge. They wanted me for round 2 but then refused to fly me out (probably common for prop firms) but if a company isn't going to pay for me to travel to them, they arent getting rd 2...

    And why should a company fly you out for an interview? They don't pay so they don't get to 2nd base with ya and you think they care? This generation's sense of entitlement is fucking amazing.

    There are tax deductions for the cost of securing employment which included travel and clothing and resumes. If you don't know this, you don't deserve the job.

    (When I was looking for a job, we had to walk to Chicago. In the snow. Uphill. And we LIKED IT!)
