Apple Deal Apple is paying up to $600 million to license technology and buy assets from the British chip designer Dialog Semiconductor. The deal bumped up Dialog's share price by more than a third (at least someone's doing well) in Frankfurt this morning. Dialog had been warning investors that Apple, by far its biggest customer, could design its own power management chips soon, but it seems Apple is continuing to lean on the Reading-based firm. Alipay pilfered. Ant Financial says hackers have used identity data stolen from Apple to loot an undisclosed amount of money from Alipay accounts. Some Alipay users link their accounts to their Apple IDs, which is how the data breach has impacted both companies. Apple Overhaul Apple's next product unveiling is scheduled for October 30. It is expected to show off new iPad Pros, a cheaper MacBook and a revised Mac mini desktop. Apple Breakdown Apple will no longer report a breakdown of unit sales for iPhones, iPads and Macs, starting with the December quarter. When the company informed investors of this, its stock fell by as much as 7% in aftermarket trading. The rationale?
