AAPL is overpriced and I don´t care whether the honorable Carl Icahn is invested in the stock or not. Where do I see AAPL in 10 years time? At $100! Carl is dead wrong about his investment and it wouldn´t surprise me if he hadn´t bought AAPPL puts OTM all the way during his "shopping spree" in AAPL stock. If Tim Cook is not playing according to Carl´s playbook, he will sell AAPL stock anyway with a nice profit. That´s how Wall Street works: both sides of the coin are "covered".
This thread is hilarious, bunch of noobs trying to justify themselves by giving reasons for Apple Computer being overpriced while price explodes to the upside. Clearly the market thinks you are wrong. Good call Red, way to own the fundamental "Einsteins".
OK so the centerpiece of the argument is growth will slow. Apple has a 13 PE, so growth is not slowing, and the growth rate is over 20%. This is not a good short recommended by the kook OP. $331. And past trades from 120 to 165 back in at an adjusted price well below $300. Pretty happy to watch this fly throughout the holiday season with 4 consecutive 4 figure days, I'm looking at 5 figures soon in less than a week. In short, a terrible call all around by the OP with a $150 billion buyback coming and another 30% rise in EPS as a result there is no credible analyst that would ever short this stock.
Did you go on record anywhere with this position or you one of those after-the-fact geniuses that so frequently "grace" us with their superpowers.
