I don't know how calls work with special dividends, but I could imagine it pissing a lot of call holders off. If apple were to do a 1 time special dividend of say $40-50 (Costco just did one of $7) to get dividend income in this year before the fiscal cliff. Stock would drop $50, call holders would be screwed? EDIT: nvm, after doing some research it appears your options will be adjusted similar to as if the stock did a split.
AAPL consolidating nicely above 580. A "pause for the cause" before its next spurt upwards? We'll see.
After all this waiting and holding if his trade ends as break-even that would seriously merit a whoop-ass
