I can feel people think the market is gonna sell off....fade the people....haha... the spy has met resistance several times now at around 14-1500. What's the real case against a breakout... the market only makes the most sense in hindsight
your smart enough to know this does look good but you have to do what you believe because its your money on the line. hindsight is always 100%
My trades these days are 3-9 months long, yes. That's why I use longer term weekly charts. Short term trades (days & weeks) are a whole different ball game. Both approaches work of course, just different time frames.
This could well be the end of the latest Cyclical Bull Market. The 17 year (2000-2017) Secular Bear Market Theory says we're in a 750-1500 Trading Range for the S&P, and due for a new Cyclical Bear Market - back down to 750 or lower! Gulp! http://www.zealllc.com/2012/bulltop.htm
If you don't mind saying: What time frame are you trading with AAPL? What charts are you looking at? Days or hours? Using stock or options? etc.
The nq futures dipped hard as the numbers came out... I'd say a lot of people are short futures already.... we will see.... if I was big I'd wanna be short the market long apple not the reverse
well apple is finally feeling the heat from it's horrible earnings. it should hit $550 i think before it levels off and waits to see what the holiday season has in store
550 is dreamland into XMAS. They missed due to iPad prior to the Mini introduction. That thing will dominate into XMAS. The new iMacs are killer, but not much of a driver. The IP5 is a massive upgrade in performance and now 4G. Android no longer has the edge on throughput. I'd of bought a Mini if it was Retina. They obviously didn't do Retina as to limit cannibalization of the full size device. Smart move.
Still think the Long Term Trend is in place. Added to my long position this morning at an average price of 600.99.
you did read the same earnings i read right? where they adjusted the next quarter - the xmas quarter, from what $15 down to $11 or something like that? thats like a 25% cut in forecast
