  2. Hello

    Hello

    2 locks this week.

    1st Jacksonville +9 over KC

I think after getting embarassed last week jacksonville should step it up this week. I just dont see them being a 9 point dog to KC. If they were to play tenesse again i would not have them as a 9 point dog, and tennessee is far better then KC.

    1st Pick: jacksonville

    2nd Steelers -2.5 at miami.

Steelers with rapelesberger back in the line up should roll all over miami, they have the best run defense in the league, and i doubt Henne is going to get it done in the air against them, steelers should cruise to victory in this game.

    2nd Pick:Steelers

Third New Orleans -13.5 over the Browns.

I promised i would tighten my game this week but i lied, Saints are 1-5 against the spread this year so i was scared about going max bet on them, but after massaquoi and cribbs both got annihilated last weekend, i cant see them being 100%. Saints are just starting to get it going IMO, and they should roll over the browns at home this week.

    3rd pick: Saints -13.5 Not a lock.

    Picks: Jacksonville, Steelers, Lock

    Saints pick not a lock.

  3. I really haven't had a chance to get into it too much this week, but it struck me that this is kind of an unusual week with so many home favorites.

I will take NO and Baltimore, both giving 13.

I would love to take NE getting 3 on the road, but I don't like going with road 'dogs, so I will pass. Ditto with Minnesota at GB. Gb has been decimated with injuries.

I also like the Skins getting 3 at Chicago. Washington has a fierce pass rush, they will be getting a well-rested Albert Haynesworth back and Chicago has been totally unable to protect Cutler. I'm passing on the game but I view it as a prime upset candidate.

  4. Ugh, two ugly losses. Brees threw 4 picks. Looks like losing Bush hurt them more than anticipated.

NE and Washington did win, barely, but I passed on them.

  5. Hello

    Hello

This has been by far the toughest season i can remember over the last few years, because the league is so tight this year, in the past few years we have had teams like the Patriots and Saints who were almost always a lock to beat up on garbage teams like the browns at home, plus you had teams like the rams chiefs, and lions to bet against. There really isnt anyone like that this year, and there are no teams who just go out and shit the bed every week, and dont even put up a fight, Even the bad teams this year are taking small losses as opposed to years past.

I think im going to have to significantly tighten my game from here on in.

I went 0-3 on the week as well, but i should have known better then to bet on the Saints given the fact that they are 1-5 against the spread.

  6. Agreed, I could not find a single game I liked. Too much fooled by randomness. There are no teams that are a full touchdown better then the other teams. The bills and browns proved that sunday.

Coming into last sunday, the chargers had the best offense and the best defense, but a losing record...go figure.

This is definitely turning out to be a "fade the gap" kind of year. Meaning the skew of point spreads resulting from big loses should be faded. I would expect Denver to cover their next game.

  8. Jets +4....

The definition of a homer-pick, but the Pack wins this one outright. Coming off a huge-emotional win ...

(Note: I've picked the Packers to go 16-0 every pre-season for the past 25 years. And that's after I knew anything)
