Can any vets here give any advice if someone was short this stock before the pop? I wasn't short... but I've never ran into this situation before and want to be well prepared.

Im not the inventor of the theory and no theory is perfect. If you really believe in a perfect theory, then you shouldnt be running money *at all*.

Yeah, the HOD is bugged or something. Charts show up to around 57...

 

why are these takeovers so big, i dont understand why ANYONE would waist their time buying a newspaper distributor...

 

shorted at 55.36 covered at 55.16..

 

reopened at around 57.50, currently 54.66

 

short covered, long@54.84 (maybe big money coming in for the 5 bucks up to 60$ offer)
tight stop @ 54.49
