I totally agree, especially in the dax today, shouldn't have put up one trade in that.

 

esx + dax are ticking down while es stays flat, interesting. esx definitely has its own will

 

lost 6 ticks since us opening, i just can't believe it how different market is suddenly

 

feels like you are basically a break-even (random) trader minus the commission cost.

at this rate the journal wont last more than a week.

 

Believe me, I will make money, maybe even today. Done it before.

System is floor trader system. you know, marketmaking.

occacionally i also will take trends or other plays

 

I know ESX and ES are highly correlated. I spread them sometimes... But they are longer time frame trades (daily)

But you can see who's the leader every day- morning ESxafternoon ES

how do you trade the esx during us hours? impossible!! no rhyme or logic. let's say it differently, not yet!

yes, es seems to lead, but just when you think you have a nice position, the esx goes the other way.

 

I scalp for .5 on es or 2-3 pts on ESX. During the morning (European Time) The ES follows the larger moves on ESX so I wait for a divergence. I DAX confirms ESX and ES is lagging I enter position.

Same goes other way in afternoon (US trading times) Always look at DAX to confirm ESX.
