  2. Same here. These are excellent videos for seeing what people do while trading. As someone who doesn't scalp the DAX its nice to know what other people are doing while trading.

As an aside - how long have you been trading? I get the impression you've been doing it a while - esp. adding to the losing positions which would require the confidence to believe it'll come back.

  3. I don't add to all losers, there are some trades that I have strong conviction on that I may have been early on that I will add to especially if the conceptual basis behind them is still valid. But if my reason for a trade no longer exists I have the disciple to get out. As I continue to post videos you will see me have position that I add to and dump.

Its also impotent to know what you are looking for if I'm putting on a trade looking for a 3 tick pop in the next 15 seconds I'm not going to add to that. Also you will see me add sometimes thinking that I've got a turn but as the trade doesn't do what I expect I get out sometimes with a couple tick gain or couple tick loss.

The trade yesterday was a very high conviction trade.

Hope my explanation makes since. I will post a video explaining the rational behind yesterday's trade when I get a chance. It may not be until the weekend. However I think it will be a good example of how you judge the market's behavior as opposed to just trading setups. Understanding market behavior is a much stronger tool which also gives you much higher conviction.

I've been trading full time for 10 years.

  4. I just made a few trades prior the the Employment # then a couple after it. There was a good series of trades right after the realease. I will lay them out later today, maybe tomorrow. I'm calling it a day. I'm going to play some golf.

  6. It's a takes serveral minutes to upload each file and then post the link here in ET.

I'll upload and post the links to another site so people can download them, but just one more. Who ever reads this and cares cast your vote for the best site to download the videos from.

What ever site gets the most votes is where I'll add the videos.

O.K. now I'm heading out the door.

Good luck with the rest of the day.

  8. Fascinating series.

It apears that you tend to take actions around the various lines on the chart. (presumably pivots, previous days H/L previous S/R whatever). However sometimes you appear to enter against price (for a bounce or more) and other times with it as the line breaks?

It would be good to have a broad outline of what you do. (though a lot appears to be down to a feel for price action). It can be a little difficult to see with the speeded up squished down vids so a bit of background would be valuable in 'followng along'.

Anway thanks for sharing these. Despite what I just said above I got a lot out of them.
    Cheers.

  9. Here are a few trades from friday after the release of the employment report.

The entries were good however I could've taken them for longer rides and taken more out.
