The thread was to bring a first hand view from a 12 year old veteran Marine on what has been going on down there. No "embedded reporters", no partisanship, no legalities, just his recollections and feelings... A first hand glimpse from our people that fight this mess in the front lines, on what is happening both to our soldiers and the Iraqis.

The first step, as they say, is recognition of the problem. Here we have a case in which you see no problem, and if you did, it would be at odds with your reason to be. I think the UN should make war illegal, make war a crime against humanity. Anyone who start it first will be tried for crime against humanity. Maybe countries should disarm and fund a UN army to police the world. I will always walk away from a war, leave it to idiots.
